———-story of my tech journey follows———

Jen Luther’s career began with a commitment to human rights and the law—a pursuit rooted in the belief that systems should protect the most vulnerable and uphold dignity for all. She started her professional journey at the International Criminal Court, working on post-conflict justice and the prosecution of war crimes. But the work was reactive: harm had already occurred. This realization sparked a shift in Jen’s mission—from addressing harm after the fact to preventing it in the first place.

That path led her to technology, where she saw a powerful opportunity: to influence how some of the world’s most impactful companies build systems that shape everyday lives. Today, Jen is a Senior Technology Leader at Grammarly, where she applies her background in law, human rights, and English to ensure that artificial intelligence is developed and deployed in ways that are ethical, inclusive, and empowering.

At Grammarly, Jen helps lead the development of AI-powered communication tools used by over 30 million people daily. She drives cross-functional efforts to embed transparency, fairness, and accountability into the company’s generative AI products—tools that influence how individuals express themselves, learn, and connect. Her work supports Grammarly’s broader mission: to improve lives by improving communication.

Prior to Grammarly, Jen held leadership roles at Atlassian, where she guided teams focused on building collaboration and productivity platforms at scale. Across roles and sectors, her north star has remained consistent: designing systems that amplify diverse voices, broaden access, and reduce harm before it happens.

Jen’s influence extends beyond her day-to-day leadership. She is a dedicated advocate for women and underrepresented groups in tech, mentoring emerging talent and speaking frequently on topics like ethical AI, inclusive design, and responsible innovation. She believes the technologies of tomorrow should be built with—and for—the communities they serve.

Her invitation to speak at the Global Power Women Conference (GPWC) 2025 is a testament to her impact as a changemaker in the tech space. On the panel “Digital Bridges to Power – Apps, AI, and the Next Generation of Women Leaders,” Jen will share how values-led innovation can drive economic opportunity, equity, and resilience. She brings a unique perspective: one that connects systemic accountability from her legal roots to proactive, human-centered design in the digital era.

Jen is also a member of the Global Power Women Network (GPWN), which recognizes leaders who are reshaping power structures through access, visibility, and innovation. Her inclusion reflects her sustained work advancing tech inclusion at scale.

Based in San Francisco, Jen continues to contribute to global conversations on AI governance, product ethics, and policy. Through every chapter of her journey—from the halls of international law to the front lines of tech—she has championed one idea: that systems can be designed to protect, uplift, and empower.
