
Mrs. Ann Marie Davis is a highly, respected transformational leader and catalyst for change. She has
dedicated her life to serving humanity, being a voice of hope and empowerment for many, nationally and
globally.
As a revolutionary thinker and transformational leader, Mrs. Davis is known for her passion for gender
equality, women’s rights, youth empowerment, social reconstruction, community development, economic
empowerment, and the eradication of cervical cancer. Her commitment as a campaigner for
empowerment and addressing national and international causes in alignment with the United Nations’
Sustainable Development Goals, has catapulted her on global platforms. She is world-renowned for her
selfless genuine down-to-earth love for people, unwavering commitment to help shatter glass ceilings,
with her deep intuitive understanding of the challenges faced by many individuals and how to bring
solutions.
Mrs. Davis valiantly leads an initiative to plant breadfruit trees throughout the Bahamas to improve food
security and the health of the nation.
Her guiding mantra is “We must wipe every tear from every eye and even if we reach one we would
have done much” and her call to action resonates powerfully: Our Voice, Our Power!”
Now retired, she is a Licensed Chartered Accountant F.C.C.A., C.A., having studied at the London
School of Accountancy in London, England. In 2024, Mrs. Davis was elected as the Vice Chair of
Spouses of Caricom Leaders Action Network (SCLAN).
Mrs. Davis is married to the Honourable Philip E. Davis, K.C. and Prime Minister of The Commonwealth
of The Bahamas, and is the proud mother of two children and three grandchildren.
